Silkski was raised in Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island and Manhattan (Hell's Kitchen and Harlem) and has also lived in South central Los Angeles Hollywood And Long Beach Calif. Texas and has traveled and toured all over the world many times. Which makes him very well rounded with many cultures and ways of life. (He is a PYN, Wutang Mgmt., Da Gutta Ent., Bungalo, Street Scholar, Universal Music Group artist, of ODB’s Brooklyn Zu, Wu-family. Silkski has a multitude of names to match his personalities; The Don of All Donz, Silk Corleone, Crook, Big Rock, Tiger Eye Red, Prince Romeo, Gangsta Boogie. Silk Ski, Silk Corleone, Tha DOD, Sun Chi, Tha Drunken Tiger, Crook, Tha Missin Element, Sincere Mathematics, Tha True Disciple, Less Iz More, Al Dro Rhythm, and Bruce Leroy, etc.. Silkski started as a rapper producing his own music, but his beats were so good that many artists wanted him to produce their tracks….which quickly gained him credibility also; as a much sought after hip hop producer. He produced songs for the Bloods & Crips "Bangin' on Wax” albums, which went over platinum; as well as Nini X, Tweedy Bird Loc "No Holds Barred", Ronnie Ron- Gangsta Boom - Sample Your Ass Off, Madd Head “Tripp2nite (remix)”, Ice T "VI – Return of the Real", “Beavis and Butt-head Do America” soundtrack "Pimpin Aint EZ", “Copycat” soundtrack “Techno Boy”, and other songs that he was paid off. Silkski was put on and made official to the legacy of the infamous Wu-family in 1995, touring the world and writing, rappin and producing with brotha- ODB-(rip), member and co-founder of the "Wutang Clan", and Brooklyn Zu, which include: songs on ODB’s “Nigga Please” album, also ODB’s “The Trials and Tribulations of Russell Jones” album, and ODB’s remix single: “Dog- Sh-t”, as well as ghost writing, and (Silkski’s) own hit single: “No Money”. Also Silkski has appeared on Vh1 “Inside out, ODB on Parole”, “The Disciples Of The 36 Chambers”(DVD) concert from ODB’s last major Wutang concert July, 17, 04’ before ODB's untimely passing, and “Rock the Bells” movie documentary of the same concert now on (DVD). Recently he appeared in the movie “The Wutang Story”, and “Dirty, One Word Can Change the World”; and appeared on numerous other Wu-related media events. Silkski's "24-8 Tha EP", which was first released in 2002, is set to be re-released with added new tracks to heighten the listeners’ experience of the donz grimey adventures of story telling, by April, 15, 2010. Also Silkski's mix tape called: "Silkski, Tha Archives" (Tha legacy) and also Silkski’s new album called: "Chamber of the Drunken Fists” is set to be released summer of 2013, along with his new cartoon and clothing line.
